Who is Cyn? Part Three: Love the Cyn You're In

Searching for "How to be happy" on YouTube changed my entire life...

I found Evan Carmichael. Then through his channel I found Tom Bilyeu. He did an interview with Mel Robbins and I was blown away. Then I found Tom's wife, Lisa. Who at the time wasn't doing Women of Impact but they were doing 'Relationship Theory' podcast and I just adored her. I loved their relationship. I wanted a relationship like theirs. I thought I had that. They were married like 15 years at that time and I thought, hey I've been with him almost that amount of time, why aren't we like them?

I listened to 'Relationship Theory' until I ran out of episodes.

Then I went back to Evan's channel and watched all the top 10's I could get my hands on. I started commenting and became a part of #believenation. I met some great people in the comment section of his videos and same with Tom's. He would go live once a week and I was always there watching. I met some super cool people in the comments that I am still friends with. It's been so exciting to see their transformation during this time.

So I spent months watching their content ALL DAY LONG. If I was driving, working (I was doing marketing for an organic restaurant at the time) or sleeping or eating...I was listening or watching their content......

Who is Cyn? Part Two: Deeper Into Cyn

Soon after my divorce was final, I met my 2nd husband...

We met the first time I went out after my divorce was final. We spent the night together but didn't have sex. We talked all night. I felt like I might have someone who understood me. But the reality was he was someone who hated himself too.  How could he love me? How could we love each other? We both had too much hate inside for self. It was never going to work. But we didn't know. I didn't know so I forged forward.

6 months in and he moved in with me. During the time between husbands I had fallen and the doctor had given me pain pills. Now, over the years I had used drugs recreationally. I wasn't any where near addict use and I thought they were a fun way to forget the crap in my head temporarily. My biological father was an alcoholic and my mother's brother died from alcoholism so I wasn't keen on booze. But then I found pain killers......

Who is Cyn? Part One: Original Cyn

Who am I? Why do I qualify to give you advice?

Because I hated myself and my life. And I changed....This story is how I went from hating myself to loving myself.

Shall I start at the beginning? Should I tell you about the trauma from my childhood? I grew up in an abusive home where from the ages of 5-7 years old, I was tormented for being "fat". I refused to eat the food they served me because I hated vegetables and beans. I hated drinking water and I hated being forced to do sit-ups, push-ups and run every day. I was a child. I should have been left alone to play and do my homework.

I remember the time when I was 6 or 7...and I went to McDonald's with my friend and her dad. I got a kid's meal like most kids get at that age. I remember him making fun of me because I ate all of my food. Dude, they give you 4 damn chicken nuggets and a small fry in those kid's meals and back then we got a package of 3 tiny butter cookies. Since, I was never allowed to eat Mc Donald's with my parents if I ever got to go there I made sure I ate all my food! Plus I was always hungry. My parents only let me have 'healthy' shit and I hated it, so I rarely ate it and was hungry often.....

How To Have Fun Finding Your Life Purpose...

How To Have Fun Finding Your Life Purpose...

There are all kinds of exercises out there to help you find your life purpose, but there’s a catchyour life purpose is something that comes from INSIDE you.

So it doesn’t make much sense to expect some EXTERNAL thing to tell you.

I know this, and I kept it in mind when I created the Fun & Pretty Life-Purpose Exercise.

In our history, tribal leaders would help the youth find their purpose.

In our current, fast-moving society, we still have leaders helping us with this, it’s just that most people don’t realize it.

You may be wondering… "Why is it so hard to find what you love?"

Answer: It’s NOT. It’s not hard at all. It’s quite easy actually.

Every human being is born with the tools to discover their purpose, at any moment.

Before Getting A Tattoo: For Ink Virgins & Tat Experts Alike

How I Came Up With These Super-Secret Tattoo Ideas.

When I was in high-school, classmates asked me to design tattoos. If they didn't want a hand-drawn design to take to the parlor, then they'd ask for a temporary one drawn right on their skin.

One of these requests was from a gun-toting, 'Triad' gangster named Kenny. He saw my work and approached me to design two massive dragons that he was planning to have inked across his body. It would have been a lucrative job, but it didn't pan out -- which was a good thing, 'cause it probably kept me from getting involved with the wrong crowd.

But... it also nudged me away from a career as a tattoo-artist.

I love tattoos now. But even though I love them, I have never personally inked anyone, and I don't have any ink on my body. So why take advice from me?

Well, because I'm better at advice than I am at art. I'm advisor to multiple CEOs a variety of subjects, and I've designed all the clothing here at Ryze Gear.

While I may not be the world's leading expert on tattoos but I *am* the world's greatest at helping people make decisions that elevate them. I'm incomparable at helping people ryze up and live more artful lives.

That applies to all topics, including body art.
